kaolin

Total kaolin deposits amounting to 3.6 mln tons are located in the vicinity of Koya where 10 kaolin formations 1.5 to 3.82 meters thick with the overburden of 0.65 to 1.35 meters were discovered between 1965 and 1967. Kaolin quality varies, at times it is quite high, at times with sand and muscovite admixtures.
