Total nickel reserves are assessed at 0.5 mln tons, including 0.18 tons of explored nickel. Only one nickel ores deposit is known; it is located in the residuum of ultrabasic rocks in Kalum rock mass. Metal content in the ore varies between 0.45% and 0.82%. The deposit was never developed.
